now I am experimenting with digital paints much more, and I feel very happy about that. It makes much more easy to work with than traditional (more flexible, cheaper...)
However, I know that I can use my knowledge both in digital and traditional. Currently I am learning basics, fundamentals of perspective, colors, values, edges, anatomy, composition and much more.

Today I have made it my own first mostly polished illustration with digital paints without any references, everything from my head from start to finish. Also, I have been experimenting traditional media, watercolors and gouache, those are very comfortable and handy tools (tomorrow I will upload those).

portraits, figures, studies

in the last week I learned about human face and figure probably more than I was learning for year. I found out about Frank Reilly's method of drawing and done research which lead me into Jeff Watts, Erik Gist and all others great artists. So, everyday I found out some new inspirational artists or techniques and I hope so I'm learning pretty fast.
In that last week I drew ~ 6-7 hours a day. Basically my stuff was gesture/anatomy/portrait studies. Working on very smooth (newsprint) surface I found out that it is very comfortable. So, I found out large cases of docs from my mom work and the back side was perfectly for those studies. Those studies are not fancy drawings or something, but studies, so I will not show you that, I will show you a bit more polished rough studies :)
